Micromelon Rover
The Micromelon Platform provides both an easy way to get started with programming in blocks, but also a high ceiling of possibilities for advanced students. The Micromelon Rover provides all the sensors required to take part in a range of challenges including robotics competitions. The Code Editor provides an easy way to program in both Blocks and Python code and with the Micromelon Simulator students can program from home, in their own time as well as complete advanced challenges with no setup time.
At home, the Micromelon Rover is a great introduction to technology, and robotics. It also makes for a great birthday or Christmas present!
For schools Micromelon provides robotics education hardware, training, student incursions and after school programs.
Robot Attachments & Spare Parts
The Micromelon Rover has lots of ways to expand its functionality beyond the base robot! 3D Printing is one way, and using these 3D printed attachments you can do all sorts of different activities, from warehouse automation challenges, to making art with your robot!
All of our attachments are available on both Thinigverse and Printables, so if you have 3D printers that can print PLA or PETG the files are free for you to use. Otherwise we provide the printed attachments fully assembled with all screws, motors etc you need to get started!
