Project Showcase: Daniel Boulton’s Autonomous Warehouse

Daniel Boulton

In this project showcase we will look at an awesome autonomous warehouse project built by Daniel Boulton. Daniel is a grade 10 student at St Andrews Anglican College in Brisbane who joined Micromelon Robotics & Peregian Digital Hub for a work experience week. He was issued an open ended challenge of creating an autonomous package delivery system using the Micromelon rover. Daniel brought together a range of technologies like Raspberry Pi and the computer vision library OpenCV to expand the capabilities of the rover. To get a full breakdown of his work, check out the video he produced which explains each component and reflects on some of the key learnings.
